HockeyMom is also NAVY MOM

I never imagined I'd have two sons in the military. Let alone at the same time and in the same service! But, soon both of my boys will be off to basic training in Chicago. I just hope they can go at the same time so I only have to fly there once! Brian's girlfriend Stefanie is going too. God bless them all. It's gonna be a roller coaster for a few months but they're all smart and they'll make it through just fine, I'm sure. In the mean time....I'm proud, scared, happy, sad and anxious. My head is whirling and my throat chokes up every time I talk about it. I'm sure my father is proud of them. and I know their Dad is proud of them, too. I just wish Jeff was still around to be at the graduation and see how his boys are turning out.
